Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia) grown in the Indian Himalayan area is called Kashmir Lavender.

This is one of the rarer, healing, and floral Lavenders. Its aroma is more complex than French or Bulgarian Lavender. It has stronger floral notes, along with some earthy and grassy notes.

This Lavender is also higher in Linalool, making it extra safe when applied to the skin or used in skin-healing products. It's a wonderful oil to inhale to not only calm anxious feelings but this aroma adds an extra softening of the heart and easing of tightness in your mind and body.

One of the things to know about Lavender is that it does EVERYTHING! That's why it's often referred to as the 'Swiss Army Knife' of Essential Oils.

Like all Lavenders, Kashmir is an ADAPTOGEN, meaning it can be both stimulating and calming, it knows what to do when absorbed into your body. It's a smart and adaptive oil.
