5 Reasons to use Eucalyptus Essential Oil

Make Eucalyptus part of your home pharmacy!

There are so many uses, but we're going to give you 5 Reasons to use Eucalyptus Oil and why it holds an honoured place in the family pharmacy. There are over 100 species of Eucalypt trees originating from Australia (where most Eucalyptus oils are distilled), varieties of Eucalyptus are found growing around the world. The most common and most recognizable by smell is Eucalyptus globulus. It has a lot of what's called 1,8 cineole in it, which has been well researched as a chemical component with significant therapeutic properties. It's also a very potent oil, so a little goes a long way!

Eucalyptus radiata is a gentler, more versatile essential oil. The globulus can overwhelm the breathing of a child with it's high content of 1,8 cineole. The radiata has much less of this chemical compound and still contains the healing power of a Eucalyptus.

Eucalyptus radiata is an oil 'specific to children and the elderly'.

No matter if you want the sharp, clearing aroma of the globulus, or the softer, earthier radiata, here are
